3 Grizzly Volleyball players sign with new teams

West Plains, Mo. – Three sophomore members of the 2018 Grizzly Volleyball team at Missouri State University-West Plains have found their new teams.

Right side/outside attacker Tatjana Trifkovic, Belgrade, Serbia, has signed with the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore.

Libero Kamryn Artale, Springfield, has signed with West Texas A&M University in Canyon City.

And, middle attacker Keziah Williams, Branson, has signed with Texas A&M University-Commerce.

"I am really proud of T, Kam and Zi, for how far they have come," Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paula Wiedemann said.

"We are very excited for them in the next step of their athletic and academic careers. Their growth and commitment to doing hard things has been cool to watch, and they know how much they mean to us and our program," the coach added.

"Each one did a great job of working through and finding the right fit for her next university," Wiedemann said. "I feel very good about what they will be able to do for their respective teams, both athletically and academically, and hope they continue to show what being a Grizzly is all about."

This past season, Trifkovic recorded 324 kills, 2.51 kills per set, and a .235 attacking percentage. She also had 267 digs, 69 blocks and 372 points earned. She received second team All-Region 16 and All-Missouri Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC) honors.

Artale led the team in digs with 572 this past season and averaged 4.37 digs per set. She also had a service reception rating of 2.39 rating on 790 attempts. She received second team All-Region 16 honors last fall.

Williams recorded 190 kills, 76 digs, 69 blocks and 252.5 points earned.
