Bio

Dr. Totty began her work at Missouri State University-West Plains in November 2014. Dr. Totty's commitment to excellence, both on and off the court, drive the everyday decisions for her work with students and student-athletes. The Grizzly volleyball and basketball programs were built up through many years of institutional and community support to become premiere programs in our Region. Both teams have highly successful records on the court, as well as impressive academic achievement and considerable involvement in a variety of community service activities off the court. In her position as dean of student services, she is a strong advocate for students, a proponent of planning, professional efficiency, the use of technology, and especially, providing quality service to all students. Dr. Totty earned her doctorate and specialist degrees from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR and her master and bachelor's degree from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR. She and her husband, Steve, have three sons; Reece, Caleb and Morgan.
