Summer Gabriel signs with Grizzly eSports team

Summer Gabriel, West Plains, signed a letter of intent to play for the Grizzlies eSports team at the "Grizzlies Gala: Promoting Excellence in Athletics" event.

The gala, hosted by Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP), was held April 8 at the West Plains Civic Center.

Grizzly eSports Coach Alex Pinnon said Gabriel has gaming experience within the Super Smash Bros. title.

"Summer has proven to be an excellent student and a driven Super Smash Bros. competitor. I am looking forward to seeing her compete in the fall," Pinnon said.
