3 Grizzly Softball players named to All-Region 16 Team

Three members of the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team have been named to the 2023-2024 NJCAA All-Region 16 team.

Freshmen Jordyn Foley, a pitcher from Ozark, and Zoey Williams, an infielder from West Plains, were named to the first team. Sophomore shortstop Kenzie Massey, Grandby, was named to the second team.

"I am very proud of Jordyn, Zoey and Kenzie for their success on the field this season," Grizzly Softball Head Coach Don Long said. "Their dedication, hard work and abilities were an asset to our overall team success this season."

Foley led NJCAA Division I pitchers in strikeouts with 354 this season. Her ERA in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC) was 2.13 with 134.2 innings pitched.

Williams had 74 at bats in the MCCAC this season with 25 RBIs, 19 hits, .257 batting average and a fielding percentage of .953.

Massey had 70 at bats in the MCCAC this season with seven RBIs, 26 hits, a .371 batting average and an .878 fielding percentage.
