Open Gyms/Partner Stunt Clinics:

Dates: March 24, 2022 and March 31, 2022, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Location: Student Rec Center, Missouri State-West Plains, 323 West Trish Knight Street
Free to those intending to try out for the 2022-2023 Grizzly Cheer Team
$10 for all others
Opportunity to get some experience with partner stunting and stunting safety

Tryout clinics:

Dates: April 29, 2022, 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm and April 30, 2022 9 am - 12 pm
Location: Missouri State-West Plains Student Rec Center, 323 West Trish Knight Street
Designed to prepare those trying out for the 2022-2023 Grizzly Cheer Team
Apparel: cheer shoes/athletic footwear, solid color shorts (preferably black, blue or red), solid color tank or t-shirt (preferably white, blue, red or black)
YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST ONE CLINIC IN ORDER TO TRYOUT FOR THE TEAM, attendance at both is preferred.
Lodging in the residence hall may be available Friday evening, April 29, for prospective team members only. Contact 417-256-1870 to reserve a spot.

Tryouts

Date: April 30, 2022, 12 pm - 2 pm
Location: Missouri State-West Plains Student Rec Center, 323 West Trish Knight Street
Apparel: cheer shoes/athletic footwear, solid color shorts (preferably black, blue or red), solid color tank or t-shirt (preferably white, blue, red or black) Bow optional.
Coaching staff will teach attendees a required chant, a required partner stunt, additional partner stunt of choice, a required jump, and an additional jump of choice. Those trying out should plan to bring an original cheer. Tumbling is not required but extra points will be given.
